Terms and Conditions for Jio Driver Services
1. Driving Conduct: Users must not encourage or insist that drivers engage in overspeeding, traffic signal violations, driving against traffic, aggressive overtaking, off-roading, or any form of racing or competition.
2. Security of Personal Belongings: It is strongly advised not to leave cash, valuables, or precious items (including but not limited to laptops, mobile phones, wallets, handbags, and luggage) in the vehicle or in the possession of the driver. Jio Driver and its drivers assume no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to such items.
3. Liability Disclaimer: Jio Driver, its management, and its drivers shall not be liable for any loss or damage to your vehicle, nor for the safety of occupants, including incidents of theft, sabotage, kidnapping, or other harm.
4. Insurance Requirement: Users are required to engage Jio Driver services only if their vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance from a reputable motor vehicle insurer in India. Jio Driver and its drivers will not participate as parties, convicts, or witnesses in any legal proceedings resulting from incidents involving loss or theft.
5. Direct Hiring Warning: The management of Jio Driver shall not be responsible for any incidents arising from hiring a driver directly without prior notification to the office.
6. Booking Discretion: Jio Driver and its management reserve the right to accept or decline any booking at their sole discretion.
7. Substance Abuse Policy: Users must not support or encourage drivers to operate vehicles under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances. The responsibility for such actions rests solely with the user.
8. Driver Availability: While Jio Driver will make reasonable efforts to provide a driver at the requested booking time, driver availability is subject to confirmation.
